Torsion confirms Tony Bray as investment and development director

Six months after joining the Leeds-based developer, Bray has been tasked with strengthening the company’s position in the residential property sector.

Bray joins Torsion with more than 35 years of experience in the property industry, including roles such as partner at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was head of the Manchester office, and commercial partner at Bruton Knowles, where he was responsible for advising landowners, developers and investors on acquisition and funding within the urban residential, PBSA and hospitality sectors.

Prior to this appointment with Torsion, he spent 12 years running his own company, PuRE Real Estate Solutions, which was based in Manchester and focused on providing commercial advice to UK and overseas clients across a wide range of property issues.

Now Bray is making his way across the Pennines and will be based in Torsion’s Thorpe Park office.

Bray’s experience has covered the full life cycle of property development, from origination through to deal closure, and spans a wide range of urban property markets with a focus on BTR, PBSA, and offices.
