Stonebridge set for Doncaster green light

The developer’s plans for around 150 homes on land north of Hatfield Lane in Barnaby Dun will be discussed at the planning meeting on Tuesday.

ASE Land acted as planners on the scheme, which will have houses ranging from one- to five-bedrooms, with 38 of them affordable – equating to 23%.

The 10-acre plot of land is currently agricultural, and the majority of the site is already designated for housing in the Local Plan.

Plans include 34% of the site being kept for public open space, with tree-lined routes, native planting, pollinator planting, play trails, and an almost 40% biodiversity net gain achieved.

The recommendation is for approval subject to S106 agreements, and more information can be found using the reference 23/02642/FULM.
