Sheffield’s Telegraph House goes under the hammer
The grade two-listed landmark, once home to the Sheffield Telegraph and Star newspapers, will meet its future owner on 30 September with a guide price of £2.25m+.
The auction will be held by Allsop, which expects a considerable amount of attention from investors given the potential to add residential units to the property.
As it stands, the building is currently home to Sainsbury’s Local, fast-food favourite German Doner Kebab, offices, and eight apartments, let on long leases.
Located in the centre of the city and opposite Fargate shopping precinct, the current gross rent is £277,000 per year.
