Sheffield last-mile shed comes to market

A 53,000 sq ft unit, originally delivered by Total Developments at Ergo Park, has been made available for a new occupier.

Unit 4 Ergo Park, a neighbour to units occupied by Tesla and UPS, was previously occupied by Sainsbury’s and its Argos subsidiary.

Avison Young has now been instructed to find a tenant.

Ergo Park is situated next to Drakehouse Retail Park, off the B6053 Eckington Way, close to its junction with the A57 which links the city centre with Junction 31 of the M1.

Developed with backing by NFU Mutual in 2022, the four-unit development quickly found takers, with 87% of the 191,000 sq ft floorspace taken within a year – UPS accounting for the largest space, the 87,000 sq ft Unit 3.

The unit now being made available at Ergo Park includes a two-storey office and welfare section to the front gable end. The property also has a 40-space car park to the front, and a 40m deep secure yard to the side.

Rob Oliver, principal at Avison Young, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a nearly new unit, suitable for logistics and last mile delivery, warehousing and distribution, or manufacturing uses.

“We have been appointed to market the existing lease, so are able to offer assignment or sublease options. The unit is due to become vacant imminently and so is effectively available for immediate occupation.”
