Refurbished 3125 Century Way attracts new tenants
Star Brands is doubling its floorspace and relocating from a neighbouring building on the Thorpe Park business estate near Leeds, following Knight Frank’s £750,000 renovation of the building.
The laundry and household cleaning products manufacturer is taking 4,300 sq ft, shortly after Renew Holding’s 10-year lease on 7,500 sq ft at the property.
Although the letting amount has not been released, Elizabeth Ridler, office agency partner with Knight Frank in Leeds, confirmed that following this deal rents for the building will now be £25.50/sq ft.
Knight Frank and the Leeds office of JLL handle lettings for all the buildings on Thorpe Park, which was developed by Scarborough Group.
The recent refurbishment was project managed by James Green of Knight Frank’s building consultancy team, and saw the revamp of the reception and office space, and the addition of shower amenities.
Thorpe Park itself is a 170 acre mixed-use development, with occupiers including Lowell Financial, Wates, Bellway, and Scarboough Group itself.
