Quantum Consult adds director to its Leeds team

Chris Campbell is joining after 16 years with Skanska UK and bring experience on projects such as the Elizabeth Line in London and the £140m Humber Gas Pipeline Tunnel.

Campbell is a legally qualified chartered civil engineer who has held roles such as regional operations manager and business development & preconstruction director for Skanska’s specialist ground engineering division, Cementation.

He works on negotiating and securing contracts in construction and engineering projects, and will be based at the company’s Thorpe Park office.

Campbell is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Commenting on his appointment, Campbell said: “I am really pleased to start this next chapter in my career, especially in being able to join such an experienced and well-respected team at an exciting time in the company’s growth. I look forward to improving outcomes for Quantum clients large and small, and helping to level the playing field for both existing and new clients”.

Stephen Pilling, founder and managing director of Quantum Consult added: “Chris is a highly valuable addition to our business. His Tier One contractor background equips him with the expertise our clients need, particularly the specialist subcontractors and SMEs we work with, who can often struggle to access the critical support required to prevent and resolve disputes across the construction and engineering sectors.”
