Place North bolsters ranks with double hire
The pan-Northern media and events business has added Lianne Reid and Dana Beidas as client services director and event producer respectively to serve a growing client base.
Place North is now a 17-strong business following the recruitment of Beidas and Reid, who bring a combined 27 years of experience to their roles.
Reid has spent the last 15 years at Insider Media. She joined the business in 2010 as an event manager and rose through the ranks to become managing director for events.
She will bring this experience to bear at Place, leading on client liaison and managing the company’s various product lines.
Kirsty Scrivener, managing partner and head of product at Place North said: “Lianne brings with her 15 years of publishing management experience and a fantastic approach to project delivery.
“I’m very pleased to have her joining the business at this important time as our reach across the North and our client base continue to grow. We have an excellent track record and reputation for customer service and quality delivery and I’m looking forward to seeing this strengthen even further under Lianne.”
Beidas has joined as event producer with an impressive CV, which includes three years as an events coordinator at the International Committee of the Red Cross.
She will lead on the delivery of various conferences and roundtables across the North West, Yorkshire, and the North East, working under event director Marian Arnold-Lawson.
Arnold-Lawson said: “We are excited to have Dana join us to further strengthen the events team as Place North grows and expands further into the regions.
“Dana brings more than 12 years of experience in event management, including senior roles in both freelance and corporate settings. Her expertise lies in leading high-impact events, combining strategic communication with a passion for delivering seamless, memorable experiences. We are looking forward to seeing her in action and to support us in our aim to make continuous improvements to our events.”
