Beal Homes swoops for Clarkson

Plans have been lodged for a temporary climbing wall to be installed at Sheffield’s Park Hill, ahead of September’s Climbing at the Sky’s Edge event.

The housebuilder will base its West Yorkshire division at Shelborn’s refurbished South Central, close to the White Rose shopping centre, taking close to 6,700 sq ft on a 10-year lease.

The fast food giant has submitted plans for a restaurant at the former Old Red Lion plot on the corner of Baildon Drive and York Road.

Keyland Developments has sold 15 acres of employment land to the firm, potentially adding 230,000 sq ft to the 375,000 sq ft of industrial space recently started at Total Park.

In a joint development by the Ministry of Defence and the NHS, the contractor has been tasked with delivering an integrated health and care facility for the military and civilian communities of the North Yorkshire town. 

Brigade Central, a partnership fronted by Birmingham Properties Group, will deliver a building reaching 10 storeys off Kirkstall Road on the western fringe of the city centre.

Regional housebuilder Banks Homes has added to its senior management team by recruiting Aisling Ramshaw as head of sales and marketing.

The firm, a specialist in confined space rescue work and training, will base its Northern headquarters in a 13,000 sq ft unit at Jubilee Park.
