Pagabo and YPO launch £5bn major works framework

The four-year pipeline of public sector building work is the first to come to market under the two companies’ 10-year strategic partnership, which launched last week.

Hull-based Pagabo has opened bidding on the national framework, which is due to launch in October.

Last week, the two companies unveiled the partnership, which will see Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation act as the central procurement authority, while Pagabo handles the design, delivery, and ongoing management of the frameworks.

YPO is one of the UK’s largest public sector buying organisations, while Pagabo is a digital procurement specialist operating across construction, infrastructure, development, and consultancy services.

Under the new partnership, the two organisations will combine with the aim of setting a new standard for public sector construction delivery.

Clients able to access the framework will include the NHS, affordable housing providers, education institutions, and local authorities.

The framework will cover England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Jason Stapley, chief procurement officer at Pagabo, said: “This is the first framework we are bringing to market in partnership with YPO under the new procurement regulations, which is an exciting opportunity for suppliers and the public sector to join us in unlocking their many benefits, such as a fundamental focus on awarding the most advantageous tenders.”
