Nobody’s Child opens in Leeds

The womenswear retailer has opened its first northern store in the city’s Victoria Gate shopping quarter.

Lunson Mitchenall and Central Retail acted for Victoria Leeds.

Taking 1,400 sq ft and replacing Calvin Klein, this is the third store for the brand outside of London.

Victoria Leeds is owned and operated by Redical and is also home to premium British brands Mint Velvet, COS, The White Company, and Whistles.

Lifestyle brand Byredo has also recently signed at Victoria Quarter, and marks the brand’s first location outside of London within the UK following a successful concession at Victoria Leeds’ Harvey Nichols.

Rachel Bradburn, head of leasing at Redical, commented: “The latest in a long line of leading brands to select Victoria Leeds in their first foray into the north, the launch of Nobody’s Child yet again marks the destination’s reputation as the go-to-spot for first-rate brands.

“Nobody’s Child is a perfect fit to our premium line-up of womenswear at Victoria Leeds, and we are sure it will flourish here as the brand’s northern debut.”

Jody Plows, chief executive at Nobody’s Child, commented: “We’re really excited to be opening in Leeds — a city with great energy and a strong sense of style, the perfect fit for Nobody’s Child!

“This store gives us the chance to connect with our customers in person and bring our brand to life on the high street. It’s another step forward as we grow our retail footprint across the UK.”
