MCR Property acquires Windsor House in Harrogate
Originally known as the Grand Hotel, the real estate company has bought the seven-storey, 117,000 sq ft office building from Boultbee Brooks and will continue to run it as a business centre.
Built in 1903, the property overlooks Valley Gardens and has more than 130 office suites, 300 car parking spaces, and amenities such as communal areas.
MCR made the acquisition through a directly sourced sale and will now undertake a phased refurbishment programme to upgrade the communal areas and refresh interiors.
Deloitte advised them on the purchase.

The purchase follows the recent announcement of MCR Property Group’s £250m senior secured credit facility from Pollen Street Capital, providing additional flexibility to accelerate the company’s UK expansion across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.
