Letting secured at South Central Leeds
Shelborn Asset Management has secured another occupier, with Bluesmith Information Systems taking 11,000 sq ft of space.
The Leeds office of CBRE is the joint marketing agent of South Central along with Knight Frank, which advised Shelborn.
The letting follows on with recent deals with AON, Keepmoat, which took 6,700 sq ft in April, and Inseego UK.
Having been refurbished in a £7m project, the 75,000 sq ft development in Millshaw offers tenants communal spaces, a gym, and a lounge area.
Bluesmith is a software and data engineering provider for blue chip and government companies, with clients including Yorkshire Water and Skipton Building Society.
The firm is relocating from its current location in Beeston and will move in next year.
Stuart Edmondson, director for Bluesmith, said: “The facilities look excellent, it has nearby transport
links and ample parking, so it’s a great location for us. Expanding into South Central creates an enjoyable work environment for our people.”
Eamon Fox, partner and head of development at the Leeds office of Knight Frank, commented: “This is one of the most important and prestigious office deals in the south Leeds area this year.
“Bluesmith is a highly successful software and data engineering provider, and this move marks an important foundation for future sustainable growth.
“The development is close to the M621, M62, and M1, providing excellent access to Yorkshire’s motorway network, making it easy for staff to get there by car. It is also close to the popular White Rose Shopping Centre.”
