Knight Frank completes two Yorkshire deals, lines up a third

As well as the combined £6m sales, the real estate company has been appointed on the sale of 2 Brewery Wharf in Leeds.

The four-storey city centre office building has been put on the market for £4m, and attracts rent of £23 per sq ft.

The Leeds office has completed the sale of an Asda petrol station and convenience store on Boroughbridge Road in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, for just below £3m on behalf of Swiss Life.

It has also completed the £3m acquisition of a single let industrial unit in Normanton, West Yorkshire, on behalf of a local investor who prefers to remain unknown.

The seller was a Yorkshire-based property company, advised by NorthCap.

Graham Foxton, partner at Knight Frank, said: “The successful month also saw us welcome new starter Richard Brooke to the capital markets team from Allsop…

“It’s great to get some deals over the line and show the country the strength of confidence in the Yorkshire property investment market across all sectors.

“We are approaching a real turning point in our region with the imminent completion of some grade A residential space in the city centre, which is quickly bringing amenities, people, and a real buzz to the city.”
