Keyland proposes Colburn Grange plans
The developer will soon apply to build up to 420 homes on farmland to the west of Colburn village, near Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire.
The agricultural land is currently split into five separate fields and is located on the eastern edge of Catterick Garrison, which is currently undergoing a £15m town centre makeover courtesy of main contractor Willmott Dixon.
The scheme is being supported by Spawforths and a drop-in event is planned for 20 November.
The site is 1.5 miles from the town centre and access is proposed via two points from Catterick Road.
At the moment details are vague, but a mix of house types and sizes has been confirmed alongside public open space and drainage areas, and potential pedestrian connections through the site building on an existing public right of way.
The public consultation event will be held in Colburn Village Hall from 3-7.30, or online comments can be submitted to Spawforths here until 5 December.
