Keepmoat completes two Bradford developments
The developer delivered 603 homes across 70 acres of brownfield sites, in collaboration with Bradford Council and local housing associations Incommunities, Vico Homes and Accent Homes.
In Eccleshill, 311 two- to four-bed homes have been built on a former quarry site next to Harrogate Road named ‘Vision’, while in Allerton, 292 homes were provided on its ‘Pinnacle’ estate off Cote Lane.
Of the 603 homes, 119 were affordable and all had energy efficient features installed.
Nigel Robson, land and partnerships director at Keepmoat Yorkshire West, said: “The completion of these developments reflects our ongoing goal to increase the supply of quality housing in Bradford – these sites have been developed with long-term sustainability and local need in mind.”
Cllr Alex Ross-Shaw, Bradford Council executive member for regeneration, planning and transport said: “Delivered with Keepmoat and key partners, the completion of over 600 energy efficient houses built on brownfield land is a major step forward for Bradford district.
“These developments are testament to the council’s vision and Keepmoat’s commitment to producing good quality housing and communities with green spaces alongside investment in the required appropriate infrastructure.”
