About the job
Kingsley is instructed by a leading national retailer to secure an Estate Surveyor (North) to join its’ national Property department, to cover the North of England, which may suit someone located within the Merseyside / Manchester / Yorkshire / Northeast regions.
The client’s national (and growing) portfolio extends to over 700+ trading stores, and the position will sit within the national Property team, being responsible for various matters including, but not limited to the following
- Lease Consultancy – rent reviews, lease renewals, obligations etc.
- Property Management – operational and non-operational
- Negotiate consents & permissions
- Resolution of Landlord & Tenant matters efficiently
- To be able to make and implement own decisions, balancing risks against benefits for the Company’s long term financial objectives
- Overlooking Service Charge statements and demands
- Develop, manage & upkeep of the property database

Ideal Candidate:
- Proven track record in a similar Estate Surveyor role
- Good negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of commercial leases
- Previous experience in a retail environment
