Hyatt to open in Leeds in spring
The £62.7m hotel is the final part of the city’s Sovereign Square development and the 305-bedroom hotel will house Hyatt Place and Hyatt House, providing long and short stay accommodation.
Situated close to the railway station,
Designed by Leeds-based DLA Architecture and constructed by GMI, the hotel is a joint venture between Marrico and Helios for UK Commercial Property REIT (UKCM) and Hyatt.
Hyatt Place has 217 rooms, while Hyatt House will host a number of studios and one-bedroom suites, featuring fully equipped kitchens, living and working spaces, and a range of complimentary conveniences including daily breakfast and a 24/7 fitness room.
The hotel’s restaurant, Zoom, will be located on the ground floor and serve a fusion of global and local cuisine.
The hotel will also host numerous meeting rooms to cater for corporate functions, executive meetings, and training sessions.
