Hallam submits Killinghall plans
The developer, alongside JG Bellerby (Farms), has applied to North Yorkshire Council for a mixed-use scheme on land south of Grainbeck Lane in the village, consisting of around 130 homes and a health centre.
The project team includes architect JRP, planning support from JohnsonMowat, and Pegasus Group, which carried out the landscape assessments.
Hallam Land’s outline proposal includes up to 130 residential dwellings with associated landscaping; a health centre, including buildings and dedicated parking; and parking and a drop-off facility for Killinghall C of E Primary School.
The 17-acre site is currently an agricultural field located on the southern edge of Killinghall bounded by Grainbeck Lane to the north, Otley Road and an adjacent woodland belt to the west and south, and agricultural land beyond an eastern hedge.
Situated approximately three miles north west of Harrogate, the site is around 19 miles from Leeds and 23 miles from York.
