GV&Co poaches Knight Frank partner
Tom Goode has joined the property consultancy as director of its industrial agency team and will be based in the Leeds office.
Prior to this appointment, Goode spent eight years at Knight Frank in Leeds, specialising in industrial property and before that he worked as a surveyor at Sanderson Weatherall for six years.
Throughout his 15-year career he has advised developers, funds, property companies, private clients, and national and regional occupiers on disposals, acquisitions, and development sites.
To date, Goode’s key clients have included Baytree Logistics Properties, Schroders, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, CBRE IM, Firethorn, Cain International, and Leeds City Council.
Goode said: “Despite a backdrop of constant global challenges in recent years, from the pandemic to geopolitical tensions, rising interest rates and ongoing economic uncertainty, the industrial sector remains resilient.
“Current market conditions present a significant opportunity for developers and landlords, as there is a limited amount of grade A supply, especially across West Yorkshire, where occupiers have a limited choice of high-quality space.”
Operations director, Kathryn Hodgson commented: “Tom is a highly regarded industrial property professional with an exceptional track record in Yorkshire and beyond.
“His experience, market knowledge, and client-focused approach make him a perfect fit for our agency team.
“Tom’s appointment further strengthens our capability to provide expert advice to both landlords and occupiers at every stage of a property transaction.”
