Evri signs for Sheffield’s Newhall 130
The parcel distributor has agreed a 10-year lease on the 133,000 sq ft unit, close to Junction 34 of the M1.
Newhall 130 was developed speculatively by Newsholme Developments on behalf of Urban Logistics REIT.
The deal comes at the same time as Evri announced a further deal, taking 113,573 sq ft at Avonmouth near Bristol, with Trebor Developments.
LSH advised on the deals. James Polson, head of industrial & logistics at LSH said: “These two sites are strategic acquisitions which further strengthen EVRi’s logistics network and capabilities.
“Sourcing these deals was a collective effort across LSH’s national office network and our expanded regional knowledge has delivered the optimal outcome for our client.”
Evri is described as the UK’s biggest dedicated parcel delivery company with 20,000+ couriers, alongside 14,000+ ‘ParcelShops’ and lockers. LSH is now amid a programme of sourcing ‘last mile’ locations for the firm to cover the busy Christmas period.
Newhall 130 is situated on the 12-acre Newhall 58 business park in the Lower Don Valley. It was designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent status. Surrounding occupiers include ITM Power, UPS and Royal Mail. Around 2.5m from Junction 34 of the motorway, M1 Agency and CPP are joint agents on the scheme.
