Eshton appoints Rex Proctor veteran
Having spent his career at the Leeds-based consultancy, Andrew Cooper has un-retired to join the developer as a non-executive director.
Based in Guiseley, Eshton Group is looking to expand across its industrial, commercial, and roadside portfolios and is looking to Cooper’s quantity surveying expertise to help make this happen.
Cooper spent more than four decades at Rex Proctor, starting out as an apprentice quantity surveyor in the Bradford office.
He cites his first project as being his most memorable: the rebuild of Bradford City Stadium, following a fire.
Having returned to the industry, Cooper will work with Eshton on projects such as the Northallerton Local Centre and the Costa Coffee drive through in Castleford.
Andrew says: “It’s been an incredible journey, working with so many talented people and contributing to projects that have helped shape communities across the region.
“I’m thrilled to join Eshton Group in this next stage of my career, supporting a business whose vision and values align so closely with my own.”
James Chapman, managing director of Eshton, said: “Andrew’s depth of experience, industry insight and long-standing commitment to quality make him an exceptional addition to our board.
“His perspective will be invaluable as we continue to deliver sustainable developments that create jobs and opportunities across the region.”
