Enevo heading to MIPIM 2026 with Place North
The Leeds-headquartered building regulations and compliance adviser is looking forward to representing the North of England on the international stage in three weeks’ time.
As well as its Leeds head office, enevo operates from offices nationwide as testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) consultancy in building safety, building compliance and registered building control services.
Chris Tongue, commercial director at enevo, said: “It is a real privilege for enevo to attend MIPIM as part of the Place North delegation. We see huge value in standing alongside established and influential businesses from the North who are shaping construction projects across the UK. The strength of the region’s technical expertise, commercial focus and collaborative mindset is something we’re proud to help represent on an international stage.”
The business supports a range of UK clients from architects, developers, designers, and contractors across public and private sectors, helping them navigate complex regulatory and technical assessment and certification with clarity and confidence. From Gateway strategy and Building Regulations Principal Designer services through to energy modelling, building physics, whole life carbon assessment, testing and final certification, enevo works with project teams to de-risk complex schemes, protect programme certainty and provide assurance to funders, regulators and delivery partners.
Understanding the market
Tongue added: “MIPIM is a rare opportunity to step back from day-to-day delivery and participate in meaningful conversations about where the market and wider industry are heading. Regulatory clarity, safety assurance and sustainability performance are all now at the centre of investor confidence in major schemes. For enevo, understanding evolving expectations is critical to delivering the level of insight and support our clients rely on.
“I’ll be attending alongside Jason Foster, director of enevo building safety, and Chloe Mee, client manager, and we’re all looking forward to reconnecting with existing contacts, building new relationships and contributing to constructive dialogue about how compliance and technical assurance can strengthen project viability, reduce project risk and support a more successful delivery.”
Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner of Place North, said: “It’s great to welcome a new partner to our annual MIPIM delegation. I’m sure enevo will do well from MIPIM this year given how well they have embraced the partnership so far. We look forward to working with Chris and his team in Cannes.”
