Double leasing at iPort
Owners Verdion has leased 400,000 sq ft at its 800-acre logistics hub outside Doncaster.
Moran Logistics has taken an 167,000 sq ft unit of warehousing and office space.
On that deal, CBRE acted for Verdion and Bishop Property Consultants advised Moran.
The second lease is 260,000 sq ft to an unnamed occupier, where GV&Co advised Verdion.
Three further buildings ranging from 59,000-330,000 sq ft are available at the park, all certified BREEAM Excellent and EPC A.
Close to J3 of the M18 in Doncaster, other occupiers at iPort include Amazon, CEVA, and Lidl.
The hub has an on-site rail freight terminal, iPort Rail, that runs to and from Southampton, Felixstowe, and Teesport, to help occupiers cut carbon from their supply chain.
GV&Co, CBRE and Colliers are the retained leasing agents for iPort.
Jamie Young, development surveyor at Verdion, said: “There has been a noticeable shift in occupier demand in the last quarter, with renewed appetite for expansion and a focus on high quality space.
“These deals underline the continued attractiveness of iPort – and its power capacity, multimodal capability and strong demographics – to a wide range of businesses.”
