Don Valley industrial unit comes to market
Knight Frank and GV&Co are joint agents on the 53,000 sq ft warehouse unit in Sheffield’s industrial heartland.
The premises will be vacated in June, following which owner Mordril Industrial will refurbish Tinsley Park Close with completion set for autumn.
Situated on a three acre site, other businesses in the vicinity include Sheffield Forgemasters, ITM Power, and South Yorkshire Police.
Rebecca Schofield, partner at Knight Frank in Sheffield and head of Yorkshire Industrial and Logistics, said: “We are seeing demand from both the B8 and B2 sectors in the region and the quality and location of the premises could be of interest to both warehouse and distribution companies, as well as manufacturers.
“Distribution accounted for 27% of take up while manufacturing accounted for 24% of take up of premises (50,000 sq ft) across South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire in 2024.
“We expect to see strong demand from both sectors given the strategic motorway location, and manufacturing heritage of the region, coupled with the established AMP and strength of the local Universities.”
Jonathan Jacob at GV&Co added: “Tinsley Park Close is located just off Shepcote Lane within the Don Valley area of Sheffield, which is one of Sheffield’s most established industrial and manufacturing locations and in close proximity to two Supertram stops offering superb public transport links.”
