DLG relocates Leeds office

The architect firm has moved from Brewery Wharf into Town Centre House at the Merrion Centre, which sits within the city’s newly defined Innovation District.

DLG has taken 2,000 sq ft in the recently renovated BREEAM Excellent building, which is owned and operated by Town Centre Securities.

The Leeds team is making the move to support its commitment to sustainability, and the fit-out is aligned with the firm’s circular economy approach by repurposing existing furniture and equipment.

The deal follows another recent move by marketing agency Datum Group, which has taken 2,300 sq ft on the fourth floor.

DLG’s fit-out aligns with the firm’s environmental ethos, adopting a circular economy approach that minimises waste by repurposing existing furniture and equipment – principles consistent with its award-winning retrofit work.

Andrew Gardner, partner at DLG Architects, commented: “Thanks to the continued support of our wonderful clients and some amazing continuing and new projects, we are excited to embark on this next chapter at our new city centre location.

“The new office offers an outstanding, low-energy and sustainability-focussed working environment with improved amenity and collaboration areas.

“We feel this move will allow us to continue to expand our services, enhance client relationships, foster a stronger team, and is a great fit for our future ambitions.”
