DLA Architecture expands I&L team with senior appointment
Matthew Hall is joining the practice as associate director, with more than 12 years’ experience delivering industrial and logistics schemes including the 2m sq ft Doncaster North masterplan.
Hall has also worked on projects for Wilton Developments, Glentrool, Keyland Developments, and Frank Marshall Estates.
DLA’s team now comprises 20 people and is delivering more than 5m sq ft of projects across the UK, with developments worth more than £350m currently on site.
In his new role, Hall will work on a number of major schemes, including the Kingsway masterplan in Rochdale, where DLA has worked with Wilson Bowden for 20 years.
The development is already home to occupiers including Asda, JD Sports, Amazon, Danish Crown, E.ON and Dachser.
The Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing Centre is also nearing completion at Kingsway. Delivered with Glencar, the facility represents the first phase of the wider Atom Valley programme, which aims to establish a major advanced materials and manufacturing cluster in the region.
Hall will be based at both the Leeds and Manchester office.
