Design Tonic adds to its board

The Yorkshire-based design and build company has appointed Craig Eastwood, Gavin Leverett, and Will Snaith to its senior leadership team.

Eastwood is now chair of the board, and has experience in founding and growing businesses. His focus will be on expanding the company’s core business, identifying new revenue opportunities, and ensuring sustainable growth.

Leverett comes to the company as fractional chief financial officer and brings more than 30 years’ experience in finance and industry. His focus will be on advancing Design Tonic’s commercial ambitions, and expanding its footprint and operations.

Snaith joins as group sales director and has more than a decade of experience in the interiors sector, spanning recruitment, bespoke joinery, fast-track retail, and design & build.

Design Tonic’s board now has seven members, including co-founders Amanda Cook and Joe Darcy alongside managing director Shaun Quinn and commercial director Pete Laing.

Earlier this year, the company relocated to new offices at Caddick’s Rose Wharf in Leeds city centre, taking 2,500 sq ft of space at the recently refurbished grade two-listed former mill along the River Aire.

Design Tonic co-founder, Amanda Cook, said: “The appointments of Craig, Gavin, and Will mark an exciting step forward in the Design Tonic journey.

“We have ambitious plans over the next five years to scale the business and push the boundaries in commercial interior design, but we can only achieve this with the best talent and advisors on board.

“These appointments are integral to our long-term vision for the business. The combined experience in strategic growth, financial management, and successful track records within the design and build sector that all three bring bolsters our commitment to innovation and delivering exceptional spaces for our clients.”
