Completion for York industrial expansion
Two of the three new industrial units at Northminster Business Park have been snapped up, with one sold and one under offer, as demand for high-spec industrial units continues across Yorkshire.
Three former agricultural buildings have been turned into industrial and warehouse units, ranging from 6,000-8,000 sq ft.
Built by York-based Elvington Park Building Services, the project was also managed by a local company, LHL Group.
Situated close to York’s outer ring road, the £3.3m expansion sits within the Cropton Court part of the site.
GV&Co and PPH Commercial have been appointed as agents on the buildings, with one unit already sold and another under offer.
The wider Northminster Business Park is home to more than 50 businesses, and as well as industrial space it has offices, laboratory space, and R&D facilities.
George Burgess, managing director at Northminster Properties, which owns the site, said: “We’ve specifically designed these buildings to appeal to ambitious businesses that require high specification and quality space, along with exceptional sustainability credentials, in a secure environment.”
Paul Mack, a director at GV&Co, said: “Northminster Business Park is one of York’s most sought after addresses for businesses looking for highly quality commercial space in a very convenient location.
“It’s within easy walking distance of both Poppleton Park & Ride and Poppleton Railway Station, and it’s less than four miles west of York city centre, and just a short drive from both the A59 and A64, which both connect to the A1(M).”
