Clarendon Quarter in Leeds launched with £44m price tag
Cushman & Wakefield is marketing the property, which comprises 326 apartments across two buildings, on behalf of Aberdeen Investments.
Clarendon Quarter was designed to provide affordable accommodation to key workers and is close to major employment and education hubs, including the University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett University, Leeds General Infirmary, and Leeds Children’s Hospital.
On the market for £330 per sq ft of capital value, the property has a gym, laundry room, games room, roof-top terraces and communal lounges.
The gated development is spread across The Court and The Gardens, providing a blend of heritage and purpose-built apartments.
Aberdeen Investments is also looking to sell Queen Street Quarter in Leicester, which consists of 232 apartments, for £29.5m.
Mike Gorman, head of regional residential capital markets at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “This is a compelling opportunity to acquire two unique assets that offer both scale and diversification across high-performing regional cities.
“Clarendon Quarter stands out for its strong social impact credentials, delivering high-quality, affordable accommodation for key workers in Leeds, while Queen Street Quarter provides a well-established, income-producing asset with clear opportunities for future value growth in Leicester.
“Both schemes reflect the increasing investor appetite for professionally managed residential assets that combine resilient income with long-term rental growth potential.”
