Chapman joins i-Transport

Harriet Chapman has joined the Leeds office of the specialist planning consultancy as an associate partner, bringing 25 years’ experience to the firm.

Chapman has, said i-Transport, built up a wealth of knowledge in the Yorkshire market, from a wide range of projects including garden villages, residential developments, logistics hubs and education and healthcare facilities.

Her focus will be assisting in growing and developing the business across the North along with continued project delivery.

She joins an established team located at Princes Exchange in Leeds, and will work closely with Greg Jones to further extend i-Transport’s presence in the region.

Chapman said: “It’s exciting to be joining such a dynamic, professional and forward thinking consultancy firm and I am very much looking forward to developing i-Transport’s offering to new and existing clients.”

Firms Chapman has previously worked for include Aecom, Peter Brett Associates and Stantec.

i-Transport is described as one of the largest independent transport planning consultancies in the UK, specialising in development planning work for both private and public sector clients. It has offices in Basingstoke, Manchester, London, Solent and Leeds. The firm works throughout the UK and Isle of Man.

One of the local authorities the practice is working with is Blackpool, with i-Transport providing expertise for a £10m cultural hub project.
