Caddick adds to its board
Hollie Shackleton has spent five years at Caddick Developments, and has now been made associate director.
Shackleton has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, having also spent 17 years at Oakgate Group.
Her expertise lies in securing commercial and residential opportunities and asset and property management across Yorkshire.
Her new role will have a focus on upholding the company’s standards of sustainability, accessibility, and cultural values for communities.
Shackleton has led on key projects including Rose Wharf, the grade two-listed workspace building adjacent to Leeds Docks; SOYO, the £300m mixed-use project in Leeds’ cultural quarter; and South Village, the £1bn city-centre scheme delivering up to 2,000 homes.
She will also continue to manage developments on behalf of Oakgate Group, which is part of the wider Caddick group of companies.
She was one of the youngest women in the country to qualify as a chartered surveyor, and continues to mentor young professionals working towards chartered status.
Steph Livesey, property manager at Caddick, said: “Hollie’s mentorship has been truly invaluable to my development. She leads by example every day and always takes the time to offer support and advice when I need it most.
“Her guidance has helped me grow not just in my career, but also in my personal confidence and
leadership skills.”
Shackleton said: “I’m grateful to Caddick for providing me with opportunities to grow in my career – from my early days at Oakgate Group to now taking on a more senior role in the wider business.
“It’s been incredibly rewarding to mentor young professionals and watch them develop, especially as the business continues to champion diversity. I’m excited to work with the leadership team on delivering inclusive and accessible placemaking across Yorkshire.”
Myles Hartley, Managing Director at Caddick, added: “We’re incredibly proud of Hollie’s journey, from starting as a work placement almost 20 years ago to becoming a senior development surveyor at Oakgate, and now taking her place on Caddick’s senior team.
“Her dedication, leadership, and deep understanding of the property sector make her a valuable asset, and we’re excited to see the impact she’ll make as associate director.”
