Burton takes on expanded JLL brief
Henry Burton has been promoted to head of regional development & regeneration at the consultancy firm, based from its Leeds office at Wellington Place.
Now taking on a wider role, Burton previously held the role of regional development & regeneration for the North.
His new role will see him focus on helping JLL’s teams across the North, Midlands and the South West to identify and unlock national opportunities to aid the delivery of the government’s regeneration agenda.
Burton has worked at JLL for 19 years. Working for both public and private sector clients, Burton’s experience includes advising on complex joint ventures, preparation of business cases, preparation of market assessments, socio-demographic research, feasibility studies, development appraisals and housing strategies.
Clients he has worked with include Leeds City Council, Homes England, National Rail, Ministry of Justice, Wye Valley NHS Trust, Taylor Wimpey, Bradford City Council and Newcastle City Council.
He has acted as lead consultant on several significant commissions throughout the North of England, and led on the procurement of a development partner for York Central, the North Yorkshire city’s flagship regeneration development.
