And finally… art of the matter
In a leisure landscape where competitive socialising has grabbed headlines, a more refined pursuit is also afoot: Pinot & Picasso, the Australian “paint and sip” provider, is opening in Leeds.
Pinot & Picasso will be opening the doors to its new store at Unit 22, Central Arcade in Leeds on 19 April.
Savills, acting for landlord New Hill, completed the leasing, with Veuve Venture UK, trading as Pinot & Picasso, signing a 10-year lease for 1,543 sq ft.
Pinot & Picasso is already operating in Shoreditch – obviously – as well as Brighton and Liverpool. This is the first in Yorkshire.
Josh Howe, director, in-town retail, Savills Leeds, said: “Pinot & Picasso is an exciting new concept, and we are delighted that they have chosen Central Arcade for their store in Leeds. The city fosters creativity and will be key for its journey of growth as it looks to expand its presence across the country.”
The studio is hosting an opening night with tickets available to purchase via their website. A glass of wine and having a bash at an Amalfi sunrise? Beats axe-throwing, for our money.
