Aire Park secures first retail occupant

Tesco has moved into the 24-acre mixed-use development in Leeds, taking space at the ground floor of 3 South Brook Street.

The 3,500 sq ft Express store will provide a convenient pit-stop for the new commercial district, which when complete will feature around 700,000 sq ft of office space, 40,000 sq ft of retail, and 1,350 homes.

Currently, 1 and 3 South Brook Street has more than 210,000 sq ft of grade A space, with tenants including the building’s first tenant, law firm Devonshires, which took 6,000 sq ft in January; workplace pensions provider TPT, which moved into 23,000 sq ft in March; and investment platform Interactive Investor, which committed to 23,000 sq ft in May.
