A New Era for Sheffield
Lambert Smith Hampton and Colloco have been appointed as letting agents on the city’s £66m mixed-use development, including 28,000 sq ft of grade A workspace.
New Era Square is in the St Mary’s Gate area, comprising office, residential, and retail space.
Owner New Era Development built the scheme around a landscaped public square with restaurants and amenities, and funded it through inward investment.
Although overall take-up in Sheffield’s office market has been slow in 2025, the ‘flight to quality’ trend remains key to occupiers.
As such, New Era has an EPC B rating and secure parking, and is looking to attract demand from tech, media, growing scale-ups, and professional services.
Matt Procter, senior surveyor at LSH, commented: “We’re thrilled to be representing New Era Square, a standout building that combines high-quality office space with the cultural energy and flexibility modern occupiers demand.
“With on-site parking, tremendous ESG credentials and a strong urban setting it bridges the gap between traditional city core buildings and fringe-located innovation clusters.
“Our team will be delivering a bold, occupier-led leasing strategy to activate the space and bring fresh energy to the remaining floors.”
