2-Work takes two floors at No.1 Whitehall Riverside

The flexible workspace operator has signed for 18,000 sq ft at the Leeds grade A office block, in a deal brokered by JLL.

Developed by Town Centre Securities and owned by NFU Mutual, the building has extensive natural light and riverside views, both of which contributed to 2-Work’s decision to move in.

It follows the recent opening in August of the company’s fourth Leeds location, opting for 8,000 sq ft at Glenbrook’s Albion Court.

2-Work also has a 20,000 sq ft site at White Rose Park, as well as a base at Tileyard North in Wakefield.

Set to open in December, the site will have a mix of private offices, co-working areas, and meeting rooms.

Janthea Griffin, director at 2-Work, said: “This latest addition to our boutique portfolio reflects our commitment to supporting local enterprise and offering the flexibility, connectivity, and professional space that businesses require to thrive.

“We are delighted to continue to expand in Yorkshire and are excited to be working with NFU Mutual, delivering best in class space within their incredible building.

“We’d also like to thank Nick Gibby at JLL, whose support in this transaction has been second to none.”

Nick Gibby of JLL added: “2-Work’s move to 1 Whitehall Riverside is fantastic news for the building. Their glowing reputation in the market adds significantly to the impressive tenant lineup already established here.

“They will bring a great offering to this prime riverside location in Leeds City Centre, further enhancing the building’s status as a premier business destination.”

Prav Sancee, asset manager at NFU Mutal, said: “This latest letting adds to a steady stream of occupier interest in the building, reflecting its strong location and overall appeal of space on offer.

“2-Work’s arrival brings fresh energy and flexible workspace to our growing tenant mix, supporting ongoing demand for good-quality office accommodation.”
